Where we work

Screening
Portable echo and ECG at a hospital near home.
Diagnosis
A specialist reads the scan and explains it to the family.
Referral
A referral to a cardiac centre, with help for the family to get there.
Treatment
Surgery or a catheter procedure, in Tanzania or abroad.
Recovery
Intensive care and the ward, with the family beside the child.
Follow-up
Clinic visits and medication for as long as they are needed.
