Empowering Change: Financial Support for Heart Operations for Tanzanian Children.

Container Concepts Limited, a leader in corporate social responsibility, is proud to announce our commitment to financially support The One  New Heart Tanzania non-profit. This vital initiative aims to bridge the gap in healthcare access and provide life-saving treatment to those children in need.

Heart disease is a leading cause of mortality among children in remote rural locations, where many suffer from congenital heart defects that require urgent surgical intervention. Unfortunately, the high cost of such surgeries, coupled with limited healthcare infrastructure, means that many children go untreated. The One New Heart Tanzania is dedicated to changing this reality.

Our new initiative, “Hearts of Hope,” is focused on:

Assisting in providing part of the necessary financial resources to cover the costs of heart surgeries for children. Advocating for and increasing awareness of the good work carried out by The One New Heart Tanzania Organization.

We support The One New Heart Tanzania and by partnering with them, we will assist in channeling funds directly to medical institutions capable of performing these complex procedures. This approach ensures that our support reaches those who need it most.

Building Sustainable Healthcare Infrastructure: In addition to funding surgeries, we are committed to investing in the healthcare infrastructure of local communities. This includes financial support for The One New Heart Tanzania training programs, medical equipment, and facilities dedicated to children’s heart care.

Our 7 free heart treatment missions across mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar have revealed that 60.1% of screened children need surgery. Since 2021, we have screened over 1,000 children but have only treated 38, highlighting a significant gap. Your donation helps us to increase awareness, expand heart screening for mothers and children, train more specialists, cover costs for heart surgeries, and advocate for supportive policies. We strive to reduce the shortfall of 39,200 surgeries over the next decade.
